We all know the product name Manthey Performance Kit, but what - or who - is Manthey? The Manthey Racing company is a German auto racing team that former race car driver Olaf Manthey founded in 1996. The team won the champion title in the Porsche Supercup the following year and again for three more years, for a record-breaking four-consecutive-win streak.  

Manthey Racing has had a longstanding relationship with Porsche, and in 2013, sold a majority stake of its company shares to the automaker. In 2021, Manthey Racing became a full motorsport partner, and its kits became widely available through Porsche Tequipment.
